Partridge Partners were engaged to prepare a report on the condition of the building concrete façade and windows. Partridge Partners prepared a scope of works for concrete cancer repairs and a methodology for sealing the original windows incorporating a façade improvement. Remedial works are expected to be completed in 2009 under Partridge Partners supervision

Partridge Partners prepared a structural report on the concrete façade and the ‘Plasteele’ (plastic coated steel framed windows) and a scope of works for rectification of concrete cancer opening up joints between precast concrete façade panels and replacing all windows in the building.

Glazed Shopfront Certification

Partridge Partners provide design advice and certification of glazed shop fronts to shop fitout clients and glazing sub-contractors.

Our designs include full height glass fins, cantilevered glass fins with sliding brackets, toughened glass assemblies and fully framed shop fronts.

Substantial modifications to the original fabric of the lower level, for fitout including demolition of original walls and new coffee shop.

Sydney Olympic SOCOG Headquarters, Broadway

Partridge Partners Pty Limited were the environmental consultant for the design team appointed by SOCOG for their $20.0m fit-out of the old John Fairfax building at Broadway,  Sydney.  The Ecological Specification Process proved to be very effective in achieving the environmental outcome and audit required by SOCOG.

This was a major internal refit of the naval section requiring a new feature wall, new mountings for major displays of missiles, guns and radar, and new viewing platform cantilevered off existing public areas.

13 Storey Office, Chatswood (Glass Curtain Wall)

Assessment & Report - Preparation of defence of a claim of over $20 million in the Supreme Court of NSW requiring detailed reporting on all structural and glazing aspects of a 14-storey glass and granite curtain wall and 2-storey suspended glass assembly.
